The Georgia Institute of Technology united academia's most respected thought-leaders, top industry luminaries and customers last week for an unsurpassed 3-day event to explore emerging issues in conceptual design methods, challenges of System-of-Systems engineering and State of the Art applications.
Keynote and Sessions
Keynote speaker Professor Dimitri Mavris, Director of the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory at Georgia Tech, discussed Emerging Issues in Conceptual Design Methods for Systems-of-Systems.
Industry leaders from Phoenix Integration, Air Force Research Laboratory, NAVSEA, Pratt & Whitney, Rocketdyne, SpaceWorks Engineering, Orbital Sciences presented upon current challenges of System-of-Systems Engineering and State of the Art Applications. Phoenix Integration provided its highly-attended "Getting Started Lite," a free training workshop.
Special Events
Following Georgia Tech's student "Grand Challenge" presentations, the culimination of its academic competition, Symposium attendees enjoyed the beautiful Atlanta weather at an outdoor cocktail reception, hosted by Phoenix Integration.
