Leaders in virtual product development and design optimization provide attendees with hands-on training to demonstrate their integrated technologies
Wayne, PA—March 30, 2009—Phoenix Integration, a leading provider of software for engineering automation, integration, and design optimization, today announced that it will join MSC.Software, a leading global provider of enterprise simulation solutions including simulation software and services, in introducing an integration of their respective technologies at the company’s 2009 Virtual Product Development (VPD) Conference for the engineering simulation and analysis community. The conference takes place April 21-22, 2009, in Phoenix, AZ at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort.
Phoenix Integration has developed a plug-in that enables MSC.Software’s SimXpert, a multi-discipline simulation environment, to be easily integrated into Phoenix’s PHX ModelCenter® “what if?” product line. PHX ModelCenter’s trade study tools have also been added as a toolbar within SimXpert, thus enabling multi-run studies such as Design of Experiments, Optimization, and Monte Carlo, to be performed directly within SimXpert. Automation of CAE tools, like SimXpert, in PHX ModelCenter shortens design cycles, reduces design iterations, and exposes downstream design problems earlier.
On Wednesday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., experts from Phoenix Integration and MSC.Software will mutually offer a hands-on product workshop for attendees. In addition to functional training overviews of PHX ModelCenter and SimXpert, the Product Workshop will instruct participants to do the following:
