Abstract

With the complexity of engineering systems increasing, systems engineering has gradually been embracing Model Based Systems Engineering, or MBSE, as a way to manage that complexity. But, what is MBSE, and what benefits does it promise over the traditional document based systems engineering practice?

Join Dr. Bruce Cameron from the System Architecture Lab at MIT, as he explains what MBSE is and isn’t, how it has transformed the management of complex systems, and what lies ahead in the future.

Phoenix Integration will present a case study of the use of MBSE by JPL for their future science missions.
