Georgia Tech
The School of Aerospace Engineering's Aerospace Systems Design Lab (ASDL) and Space Systems Design Lab (SSDL) both use Phoenix software for student research and industry-related projects. In addition, ModelCenter is featured in several graduate-level courses including Design-Oriented Computing Lab class, Advanced Design Methods II, and Spacecraft and Launch Design course.
University of Southampton (UK)
Phoenix software is employed in the Computational Engineering and Design Centre for the University Technology Partnership for Design, which is supported by BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce PLC. The focus of the program is to apply modern design search and optimization tools to problems in aerospace engineering and related fields for the benefit of the supporting companies.
Virginia Tech
Phoenix software is being used for research in Virginia Tech's department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering. The research is focused on conceptual design of a new distributed propulsion system and noise reduction.
