Phoenix Integration Webcasts
A Fully Integrated Risk and Cost Model for Complex Aerospace Systems
| Format: | Interactive/Lecture |
| Facilitators: | Dominic DePasquale Director, EEG, SpaceWorks Engineering Peter Menegay Application Engineer, Phoenix Integration |
Overview:
SpaceWorks Engineering, Inc. (SEI) has conceived of the Integrated Risk and Cost Model (I-RaCM) to meet the need for synchronous cost and risk assessment early in the design of a new aerospace system. Phoenix Integration’s PHX ModelCenter® provides the framework for seamless, integration of I-RaCM’s diverse set of cost and risk tools.
A prototype version of I-RaCM has successfully demonstrated the combination of newly-developed and existing industry-standard software tools to rapidly evaluate life cycle cost, operations, reliability, and technology development costs. The integration of the government-sponsored NASA Air Force Cost Model(NAFCOM) into I-RaCM is of particular consequence and value. SEI's Remix software tool allows for the full, GUI-executed, version of NAFCOM to be wrapped and run in ModelCenter.
This Webcast will include:
- An introduction to I-RaCM and potential applications
- Demonstration integrating and running full, GUI-executed version of NAFCOM in PHX ModelCenter using SEI's Remix
- Deterministic and probabilistic results from a representative modern lunar exploration architecture case study
- Capabilities demonstrations
