Phoenix Integration will be presenting an informational webcast on how to link cost and performance models. Initiatives such as Cost As an Independent Variable (CAIV), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and SMART Modeling require that cost analysis be included as a discipline during the design process. Tools such as Price, SEER, and ACEIT are often used to estimate costs, but only after a design or architecture has been selected. This presentation will demonstrate best practices for integrating these kinds of tools earlier in the design process so that costs can be eliminated before they become a problem.

  • Performing trades with costing tools

The presentation will include a demonstration featuring the upcoming ACE Plug-In 2.0 for ModelCenter. The demonstration will automate an ACE session to perform sensitivity, risk, and optimization trade studies
