Phoenix Integration will be presenting the first in a three part educational series on the application of Design Optimization to real world problems. Successful application of Design Optimization requires progressive exploration of a problem, beginning with Sensitivity Analysis:
- Sensitivity Analysis: Determining key drivers in a design.
- Optimization Analysis: Applying guided search techniques to find optimal solutions.
- Probabilistic Analysis: Exploring the robustness of a solution.
The focus of this webcast will be Sensitivity Analysis. Presentation topics will include:
- Parametric Studies
- Carpet Plots
- Design of Experiments
- Main Effects Analysis
- Response Surface Visualization
This presentation will describe how to approach a problem for the first time and determine the key drivers. Techniques will be discussed for identifying, understanding, and visualizing driving parameters in a design. These techniques will be demonstrated using the Phoenix 2006 Suite of tools, including ModelCenter and CenterLink.
