MODELING AND SIMULATION TOOL DATA MANAGEMENT
Deploying analysis tools at the desktop, workgroup, and enterprise levels: A case study using CenterLink and STK

  • Original Broadcast Date: October 25, 2005

Phoenix Integration presented an informational webcast on how to best manage your modeling and simulation tool capability. When deployed at the desktop level, end users may manage their own data. When implementing solutions like Systems of Systems and Analysis of Alternatives, a large number of people, software applications, and computer resources must be managed. This web cast presented solutions using CenterLink and ModelCenter for the following types of problems:

  • Version controlling your analysis capability as well trade study results generated from it.
  • Collaboration between multiple people.
  • Utilization of cluster resources to accelerate trades.
  • Archival of data in a central, web-accessbile database.
  • Custimized web interfaces for access to modeling and simulation capabilities by non-expert users.

The presentation included a case study that walks through the creation and utilization of a multi-user modeling and simulation capability developed around STK. Phoenix discussed the ModelCenter and CenterLink products.
