Phoenix Integration presented an informational webcast on how to implement an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) project. Analysis of Alternatives emphasizes the creation of multiple design concepts such that acquisition offices can understand the impacts of multiple technologies, and understand where their selection resides relative to alternative designs.

Presentation topics included:

  • What is Analysis of Alternatives?
  • Automating the process of evaluating multiple designs.
  • Ranking techniques for alternatives.
  • Visualization of design concepts.

The presentation also included a brief demo highlighting tools for application of Analysis of Alternatives, emphasising a case study from the Boeing Heavy Lift Program. Phoenix discussed the ModelCenter and CenterLink products.
