Georgia Tech and Phoenix Unite Academia and Industry for a 3-Day Invite-Only Symposium

April 29 – May 1, Georgia Tech and Phoenix will co-host an invite-only “Collaborative Systems Engineering and Design Symposium” to explore emerging issues in conceptual design methods and State of the Art applications. The event will feature presentations and panel discussions lead by industry experts, a free training workshop, special networking opportunities and attendance to Georgia Tech's “Grand Challenge” presentations, the culmination of its academic challenge program.

Phoenix Integration will collaborate with M4 Engineering and Cal Poly on research initiatives contracted through NASA’s Aeronautic Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) program to design the quieter, cleaner next-generation air vehicles. Phoenix’s physics-based, multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) framework, PHX ModelCenter®, will be leveraged to deliver the next level of physics-based MDAO tools and techniques including more accurate modeling of interdisciplinary systems, more accurate prediction of performance, and improved evaluation of benefits and risks.
