Overview:
Fidelity Forward Design enables use of CAD/CAE tools during trade-off design studies within PHX ModelCenter®. By introducing CAD/CAE tools earlier in the design process, design issues can be addressed sooner, yielding better designs, shortened design cycles and reduced costs.
Siemens’ NX Nastran is a premium computer-aided engineering (CAE) tool that major manufacturers worldwide rely on for their critical engineering computing needs to produce safe, reliable and optimized designs within increasingly shorter design cycle times. Further enabling simulation-driven design, Phoenix Integration has combined the NX CAD Fusion Plug-In with Siemens’ NX Nastran to create an integrated system that allows users to modify the parametric NX geometry, automatically re-mesh the new geometry, and then perform a Finite Element Analysis on the updated mesh via NX Nastran.
