Phoenix Integration presented an informational webcast on how to model Systems of Systems architectures using simulation tools and techniques. Simulation tools define relationships and, when allowed to run for a defined period of time, predict behavior over that time period. Common simulation techniques include discrete event and system dynamics simulation.

- How is simulation applied to Systems of Systems?
- Integrating simulation tools (HLA, Vensim, Extend, STK, etc) with analysis tools (Matlab, Excel, Price, etc).
- Performing trade studies on systems:

- Practical tools you can apply today.
This presentation utilized examples built from the Extend and Vensim simulation tools. Trade studies were performed on these models using the Phoenix 2006 Suite of tools.
