James is currently the Vice President of Operations at Phoenix Integration and has over 20 years of experience in engineering and software for engineers.
After spending the first 2 1/2 years of his career performing aero-optical analyses on CFD data for seeker missile applications, James joined Phoenix Integration in 2000. Early in his Phoenix Integration career James was a key software engineer on many features of Phoenix Integration products. James was also the lead developer of CenterLink from conception through the release of CenterLink version 2.0. In 2006, James led the CAD Fusion initiative which saw the creation of ModelCenter Plug-Ins to tightly couple CATIA, Pro/Engineer, and UGS NX to make it easy to integrate CAD models into a multidisciplinary process. In 2007 James moved into the role of Director of Engineering Services. In that role he was responsible for direct management all customer support, pre-sales support, consulting and training activities. In 2017 James became Vice President of Operations, where he now oversees Engineering Services, IT, and coordinates activities with Phoenix technical partners. James has extensive experience applying Phoenix Integration software to provide effective solutions to a variety of engineering problems. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering.
