Distributed Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) at Parsons


This presentation will be on Distributed MBSE and will go over the process of linking a SysML model of a satellite to a set of distributed engineering analyses to verify requirements and improve the satellite design. The engineering analyses were provided by two different organizations – one in Washington DC and one in Colorado Springs, CO. ModelCenter was used to network these analyses together via a Cloud-Based VPN system, and the results were collected in ModelCenter MBSEPak to verify that the system requirements were met by the proposed designs. A key aspect of the work was that each organization was able to contribute to the project and to share analyses with the other without compromising their own Intellectual Property (IP).
